TranzCoastal - Christchurch to Picton and Picton to Christchurch This journey links the port of Picton with Christchurch, the garden city.  From your panoramic window you will see some of the vineyards of Marlborough, travel through 22 tunnels, and view the rugged coastline on one side of your tain, and the Kaikoura mountain ranges on the other.  Visit the open air viewing deck during the journey to get even closer to the scenery. Departs daily from Christchurch at 7.30am, arriving into Picton at 12.50pm, this connects with the 1.30pm Interisland ferry to Wellington.  Also departs daily from Picton at 1.40pm, arriving into Christchurch at 7.00pm, this connects with the 12.30pm arrival of the Interisland ferry from Wellington.
