On boarding a luxury Real Journeys coach in Te Anau, passengers journey along the spectacular Milford Road. There is time for photo stops and short walks on the way, with informative commentary in English only. Upon arrival, passengers board the Milford Wanderer for the overnight cruise. The Milford Wanderer Overnight Cruise offers an exciting and different dinner, bed and breakfast experience. Departing from Milford Wharf, the Milford Wanderer cruises the full length of Milford Sound to the Tasman Sea. At a leisurely pace the vessel explores points of interest and there is plenty of time available to view waterfalls, rainforest, mountains and wild life with the experienced nature guide on board. After reaching the open sea, the vessel returns under sail (wind permitting), and anchors overnight in Harrison Cove. There are opportunities to go kayaking or to explore in the vessel's tender craft. A hearty evening meal is included and a fully licensed bar sells beer, wine and spirits.
