Day one - Auckland to National Park

9.15am - Board the Overlander train in Auckland bound for National Park in the central North Island.

2.55pm - Arrival into National Park

Take some time to explore this picturesque alpine village.

Accommodation - The Grand Chateau, Whakapapa Village, the only hotel within Tongariro National Park and only a short distance from Whakapapa skifield.

Day two - Ski the slopes

Enjoy the disverse range of terrain on offer at the Whakapapa skifield.  There are excellent facilities and runs for people from every level of experience.

Day three - Ski the slopes

Enjoy the runs of Whakapapa for the second day

Day four - Optional ski/explore

This day is at your leisure, enjoy a final day on the slopes, take some time to relax, or take to the local trails and enjoying some mountain air.

Day five - Whakapapa to Auckland

2.15pm - Board the Overlander at National Park again for the scenic journey back to Auckland.

7.50pm - Arrival of the Overlander into Auckland

Price: NZ$836.00 for two, based on twin share accommodation.  This does not include any ski passes, ski rental or transfers to and from ski field.
